Somewhere between the world of opera and the world of modern theater lives “Kiss Me, Kate,” a play within a play brought to life in Bozeman at the Ellen Theatre this weekend.
“Kiss Me, Kate” follows the tale of Lilli and Fred, two married-but-separated actors putting on Shakespeare’s “Taming of the Shrew” together. In the same vein as the Shakespeare classic, Lilli has a reputation for being hotheaded and hard to work with, but Fred is hardly a dream to work with either. . .
